It’s such a nice day whenever the Lord speaks to me. Have you realized that if you are quiet enough to listen you can hear GOD speak through dreams, people, situations? Today I just finished reading a book I have been reading for quite a while now and I definitely recommend. “BATTLEFIELD OF THE MIND” by Joyce Meyer. Awesome read! So rich!

Here’s the sweetest thing I read from that book today…

The whole purpose of man’s creation is that he reverence and worship God by obeying Him. All godly character must be rooted in obedience- it is the foundation of all happiness. No one can ever be truly happy without being obedient to God. Anything in our lives that is out of order will be brought into adjustment by obedience. Obedience is the whole duty of man…- Joyce Meyer.

So amazing right? May the Lord guide us as we strive to obey Him.

“For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.” – Romans 5:19

Thank Jesus that He obeyed God and was sacrificed that me and you can be made righteous!

What great books are you reading this summer? Please share with me.. God bless you and please share your thoughts on obedience. i would love to read them..

Thanks mambei for another post. Visited your blog again several times just to listen to the music u shared last post.
Yea, I remember the song “Trust and OBEY for there is no other way..” Obedience is essential to experiencing all the goodness and JOY in CHrist. And that obedience is learnt not obtained. Talking about Jesus, it is written: “although He was a son, He learned OBEDIENCE …and once made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation for ALL WHO OBEY HIM and was DESIGNATED BY GOD A HIGH PRIE
    ST”. Heb 5:8-10.
Obedience is the key to accessing your inheritance, the key to divine approval and appointment, the key to the miraculous. Until the servants obeyed and filled the barrels though without understanding, they never had wine.
And that OBedience is TOTAL not PARTIAL. When saul obeyed partially, killing the people and sparing the flock, it still cost him his throne being seen as disobedient (1 Sam 15). For similar reason stiff-necked Israelites did not enter Canaan. We can’t go between!
About something sweet, read Josh 24:28-30 this morning. Funny how many times we settle at the border of our inheritance, God’s blessings for us. Confused to identify it fully and hesitant to possess it fully.
And the Lord said to me: “when you have been in the wilderness too long, you might mistaken an OASIS for THE PROMISED LAND”.
But I’m decided to attain the fullness of my inheritance in GOD, fulfil my destiny on earth. And Long ago I learnt obedience to God’s word and LEading as a key! Another blessed post from u.
    Said to much.
My father will always say, “don’t tempt the man of God with a microphone”. Said a lot.
You want to experience the glory of God in your life, you must seek to know and be diligent in obedience to do the things you ought to do. Not just the things you want and feel as to do. Lev 9:6-7.
Posting from mundemba, first time here for a Christian gathering. What Joy!
The degree of your obedience to God’s word and leading is a reflection of your degree of spiritual maturity (John 21:18) -as a child he went where he wanted. But as a mature man he sretched out his hand in obedience to be led where he wount want to go.
So are you a toddler, a child, a young man or a father in Christ? Let’s all grow to perfection!
    God bless you mambei

And this necessary addition, by the Holy Spirit we have the capacity to obey. No dowoubt peter calls the saints obedient children (1 pet 1:14). And that obedience is not burdensome 1 Jn 5:3 tells us. Unlike some think it is difficult to walk with God. It is not a struggle to, for we are enabled to. Bless the name of the Lord!

    I am blessed once again! I especially love this part by Joyce Meyer;
Anything in our lives that is out of order will be brought into adjustment by obedience. Obedience is the whole duty of man…

For me, I believe that for every promise of God, there is something to do, which indirectly means that all of God’s promises to us demand our total (not partial) obedience, to do what He’s asked us to do so we might partake of the promise. It is often so easy to look at the blessing and forget what we have to do to obtain it ….

I have been thinking of getting that book, I guess it’s high time i buy it!

Presently, I am reading ‘The power of a praying woman- Stormie Omartian’. I hope to read ‘Look Great Feel Great- Joyce Meyer’ after. God bless you Mambei
